Signal present nearby yet connection fails.
I regularly use 5Ghz Wi-Fi but my Virgin Media router struggles with many devices. Sometimes my iPhone and iPad connect smoothly, while my PC fails to establish a connection despite my efforts. Even when I disconnect my iPhone, the PC still can't link. This seems to happen only when my flatmate is in another room. I know 5Ghz signals can weaken easily with obstacles, but my iPhone connects without issues right now. Could assigning a dedicated IP address for my PC through the router's DHCP settings help resolve this problem?
It seems the AP "SuperHub" is not worth it. When I used Virgin Media, I turned off WiFi and relied on APs. The choice depends on your budget.
