I revisited adjusting my RAM overclock settings and encountered some problems. I have two kits labeled 'CMK16GX4M2D3600C18,' which aren't ideal for overclocking but they work well as backups. The secondary timings remain unchanged, and the RAM runs smoothly at 3600MHZ CL17-21-21-41 on stock voltage 10600K with a 4.9GHz Z490 Vision G. Despite manually setting the timings to 16-18-18-38, the frequency stays stuck at 3200 even though I increased it to 3600 (XMP disabled). The VCCS and IO are set to 1.2, and the RAM voltage is 1.38.

if it has a JEDEC spec for 3200, then it might be failing to start at your settings, and reverting to non-xmp defaults.
