I own a computer that currently relies on built-in graphics. It has a GPU, but when connected via HDMI to the PC, it activates and appears properly. However, in Windows the display shows pixelation and only refreshes at 1Hz, making it hard to tell if it's functioning correctly.

The motherboard and monitor both handle dp, but changing from hdmi to dp only shows the same output as before. After removing the drivers it functions but with visible gaps and sometimes the resolution jumps to 1920x1080. Installing drivers makes the display behave strangely.
