I'm working on a PC linked to your Samsung S90D TV through a USB-C to HDMI 2.1 connection. It functions properly when the cable is connected or when the computer starts, but after turning off the TV, waiting a short time, and then turning it back on, the video display begins to flicker erratically. This problem disappears once I reinsert the cable or restart the system. The issue occurs across three different PCs—Windows 11, Fedora, and Bazzite—so it doesn't seem to be a hardware problem with the PCs themselves. The problem only appears when using this USB-C to HDMI 2.1 adapter, not when connecting a standard HDMI cable directly into the HDMI port of your mini PC. Occasionally, I also experience audio problems where no sound reaches the TV, and sometimes rebooting helps but not always. I haven't found any fault with the cable itself; even when using it with a 4K monitor (MSI MPG321URX), the blinking continued. I've tried updating the device, changing the resolution settings, and running the built-in HDMI self-test, but nothing resolves the issue. Is there a specific TV setting I should adjust to fix this?

Sounds like a weird intermittent incompatibility with how the TV is processing the signal when using a USB-C to HDMI cable. You could verify this theory by using a completely different USB-C to HDMI cable - if it happens with one from another brand, it's likely the TV not liking USB-C Alt Mode video output, at which point you could contact the manufacturer for advice with their product. That said, since you say it works fine with HDMI... it's unlikely that the TV manufacturer is going to help resolve something that only happens in very limited circumstances - they'll likely tell you to use HDMI since that works fine. Your Minisforum UN1265 also has DisplayPort 1.4 which might let you achieve 4K120Hz using a compatible adapter. It does seem that TVs are picky about this though. https://www.amazon.ca/Cable-Matters-1021...B08XFSLWQF
