So i have two G.Skill Trident Z's in my MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC with a ryzen 5 2600. Bios shows 2 8Gb sticks of ram installed but only uses 8Gb for some reason? also ram speed wont go over 1067Mhz? When i first built my pc everything was fine and XMP got my all of my 16Gb ram to 3200Mhz. Is this a software issue? (there is a picture from my task manager but it is in Finnish.. sorry)
Your computer is allocating 8GB of RAM to hardware in the task manager.
Consider Aida64 and examine the CPUID data. Task Manager provides inaccurate details such as CPU usage. Alternatively, you might want to use CPU-Z for more reliable information.
your cpu-z displays 16gb memory as well. in a2 and b2 i've tested various bios settings, changed timings manually, but nothing changes the result for a ryan 5 2600.
Great guy. Uncle Billy messes with the goat guy. The task guy is chill, but of course this is the usual MS pattern for you. Your setup, F taskman for clock speed and incorrect memory readings.
Hey there, the fix seems not to be working. I'm still stuck with the same problem.
