Hey everyone, I’m dealing with two monitors connected through a display port. Occasionally, I see lines when they’re turned on. These lines show up on all graphics card outputs and with various cables. Sometimes fixing it by swapping the display port cable helps, other times it doesn’t. I’ve also managed to get it working again by restarting the PC/monitor and changing the GPU’s display ports. None of these solutions are consistent. It seems like the issue might be coming from the display hardware itself. Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

No, I haven't tested it on another screen yet.

Have you attempted to check each screen individually to determine if the problem lies with a specific display?

It's unique to that screen, the other one never faces problems with any cable setup. My guess is the connectors or drivers on that monitor might be a bit unstable, disrupting signal quality at the display side. The cables stay low and can change height from bottom, often showing a worse example. Typically, they don't extend beyond the taskbar area.

Check if the monitor remains covered by warranty. If yes, proceed with returning it.

Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked for six years. I don’t want to replace a 144Hz, 1440p, 32-inch monitor. For now, I’ll just keep trying to turn it off and on until it functions.

It looks like the panel isn't working well. Have you considered changing the power settings for the screens?
