Should I Use My Laptop While it is Charging?
I've learned that it's best not to use your laptop while it's connected to AC power, especially when it's charging. This can cause the battery to degrade quickly. If this advice is correct, how should you properly manage your laptop usage? Since I don't have a desktop and rely on my laptop, I think I need to charge it 3 to 5 times a day if I use it for about 8 to 12 hours. Currently, my battery only lasts up to 2 and a half charges. With the frequent power outages in this area, especially during summer when there are at least 4 to 8 hours of load shedding daily, it's important to be mindful. Regarding your questions about charging limits, limiting the maximum charge to 95% might help extend battery life, but I'm not sure how to set that specifically.
Consider restricting the highest charging levels to ensure safety and longevity.
