Staying on the same setup or switching platforms is similar. Like moving from Intel to AMD, it depends on your needs.

You likely won't need an upgrade if your CPU is current. You can obtain Windows 10 or Windows 11. Select a media creation tool, insert a USB drive, and adhere to the on-screen instructions. After that, enter BIOS and boot from the USB. Prepare the OS installation drive (be sure to save important data before proceeding). Continue with the remaining steps and install drivers afterward.

Consider removing the SSD along with the operating system, then transfer Windows using a CD or flash drive that includes BIOS support.

You can't erase the SSD through the operating system since it's already using the drive. Likely you won't need a full reinstall unless the board fails to recognize the OS. If cost matters, consider 10400F or 11400F with B560—10400F matches gaming performance of 3600 but lags in other areas, while 11400F excels across all tasks and is usually more affordable.
