My system is fully prepared for ordering, but I’m finding it impossible to accomplish anything on my existing Pentium E5700 and GT 730. I intend to purchase a Ryzen 2600 paired with an RX 580 8GB utilizing 8 GB of DDR4 memory in a dual-channel configuration, installed on an ASUS Prime B450-Plus. I’m increasingly frustrated by the sluggish performance of my current machine, which I've been utilizing for some time now, and believe it’s time to upgrade.

Tell me about your computer’s purpose and its memory capacity. If you intend to play video games, a significant upgrade would be beneficial; specifically, Ryzen 3000 series processors will offer improved performance when released. It could be advantageous to delay your purchase until after CES concludes to observe any new announcements, though newer technology will continually emerge, and it’s only sensible to wait until a forthcoming release is imminent.

Could you describe what you primarily use your computer for and what amount of memory it possesses? If your goal is gaming, a significant improvement would be beneficial; specifically, Ryzen 3xxx processors will offer enhanced performance upon release. It may be prudent to delay your purchase until after CES concludes to observe any new announcements, though advancements are continually emerging, and it’s generally most advantageous to wait until a subsequent release is imminent.

Hello! Could you tell me what you plan to do with your computer, its memory capacity, and whether you intend to add a graphics card – or just the components you’ve already mentioned?

I'm using my PC primarily for playing games and I’d like to start streaming. My current machine only has 4 GB of DDR2 RAM. I’m also purchasing an RX 580.

I'm considering getting a 2600 processor now, but I’m also thinking about holding off until the Zen 2 release and potentially returning it if it represents a significant improvement, based on what’s being rumored.

Currently, there’s no confirmed release date. We might anticipate it appearing in stores within a couple of months, or potentially more than six months from now, pending official confirmation.
