Yes, i've never played them, im wondering if their worth even putting game time on. I could care less about the graphics, I just want a goodstoryline

In my view, each of these titles is outstanding. I recall me and my brother trying HL2 for the first time and being amazed. The same went for Portal. I strongly suggest all of them.

You can jump straight to HL2 without HL1. I've never played HL1 and others say it doesn't hold up well over time. Try both portal titles, but I favor Portal 1. Enjoy!

portal 2 is an amazing game, definitely worth a playthrough. so is portal 1 . 've never played through HL2 but i loved HL1 many years ago. as others have said though, it didn't age all too well...

Portal and Portal 2 are among the most impressive games ever created. It's fascinating how a straightforward puzzle game can transform into a captivating narrative with rich settings, complex characters, and an immersive vibe. Personally, I finish Portal in about an hour and Portal 2 in roughly three, but that’s only because I’ve memorized all the puzzles. TL;DR: Try Portal and Portal 2, you won’t be disappointed. The stories behind them are worth exploring—Portal offers a great mod for Portal 2 once you’re done, essentially upgrading it to version 2.5.

I think Black Mesa matches Half-Life in many ways but with improved visuals, avoiding the outdated graphics issues.

portal 2 is excellent, and you'll probably get portal 1 included in a cheap bundle on steam. portal 1 can be completed in an hour or 2
