I found out that increasing the clock speed of my FX-8350 on the existing motherboard isn't advisable. Does the same apply to my GPU? Can I safely push my GPU's performance without concerns?

I understand what you're referring to, and I was also involved in that too!
This guide is excellent. Because you're concerned about the durability of your equipment, it won't impact it, and we already confirmed your PSU can handle the situation from another discussion.
