The license key is stored in the BIOS. You don't have to remember it.

Great guidance. Still unclear about the Win-11 key issue.

1. Your electronic key for your Windows version is stored in the BIOS.
2. Make sure your BIOS includes TPM2 and secure boot activated, to prevent issues.
3. Upgrading to Windows 11 23H2 feels like a system refresh, particularly if you're using an older Windows 11 but want to keep all files and settings intact or start fresh.
4. Apply the most recent patches.
5. It's advised to use Dell Command Update (DCU) since it will automatically fetch and install new BIOS and drivers directly from Dell.
6. Add the newest third-party drivers, such as Nvidia/AMD extra GPUs, if DCU isn't available, as it will only handle drivers for the hardware provided by Dell.

I just installed Windows 11 23H2 and the Windows Update isn’t working. I can’t run any setup or installer for any app or software. The issues began with 22H2 and didn’t update to 23H2. I bought new Windows software, changed the RAM, replaced the motherboard, SSD, and GPU. I’m using an Asus ROG Maxus G790, a 2TB WD NVMe SSD, ASUS RTX 4090 TUF, a 1000-watt PSU, 128GB RAM, and swapped my i9 13900K for an i9 14900K. Everything is brand new but I’m still getting the same BSOD errors in Windows. There are BSOD errors even during a clean install while updating. I ran the sfc/scannow tool and fixed some issues, but they keep coming back. I updated my BIOS to the latest version, but it doesn’t help. Everything is still running smoothly otherwise. My first machine was under a year old. After replacing all parts, things got worse. Should I even try building another system? I’m spending around $8k and at my wit’s end. I don’t know what else I can do. I’ve tried every fix I could find—none worked.
