Should I enter pc gaming?
I’d advise you to do this only if you’re serious about it. Determine the games you plan to play, gather the suggested specs for each, and calculate the costs needed for a setup that fits your needs. Once you’ve narrowed it down a bit, choose compatible components from trusted brands like Corsair, EVGA, Asus, Nvidia, etc. This helps set a realistic budget. A good monitor is also essential—especially if you don’t already have one; a 21"-24" 1080p model is often affordable. Building a solid rig and screen is key to enjoying PC gaming, so avoid settling for something too low unless the games you want support it.
Please game on PC. Once you come here, there is no looking back. 1080p 60FPS is standard. I now play on a 2560x1440 monitor from Dell (P2416D). And witcher 3 is awesome...... The amount of details you can see is just amazing.
I've played consoles my whole life, starting when I could grip a controller on the NES in 1994 and going all the way to 2014 when I switched from PS4 to build a PC...that was the best choice ever...honestly, just ignore the loud voices. I think console gamers who claim PC gaming isn't good have actually played it properly. I'm confident enough with consoles to say PC is clearly better in every way—and that's just the truth. The only ones who criticize PC gaming are the poorly made developers with their sloppy ports, but most of those ports are just bad games anyway.
I would say yes. You're unlikely to make a mistake. For multiplayer gaming on PC it's simply superior to consoles. There are far more MP titles that offer greater engagement. Regarding consoles, I'm aware they still lack platforms like Steam, Origin, GOG, etc., so a dedicated client is needed for seamless chat, game discovery, forums, and more. In the online experience, PC provides a comprehensive environment where you can play games, browse the web, watch videos, listen to music, and more all in one place. It's a complete solution, unlike consoles which mainly focus on gaming and streaming content.
It depends, really on what you want to play, If all you do Is play AAA titles like Call of Duty theres no reason to get Into PC gaming IMO. If you are really an elitist and want better graphics and higher framerates then sure. But note that with a 950 you arent going to get hugely superior experience to consoles, simply beacuse they are so well optimized. Go for a cheaper CPU and a better GPU. Also, If your console gaming friends say that PC sucks It Is beacuse they are fanboys.
They mentioned attempting to play shooters with analog sticks as a reason they might want to switch platforms, even for games like Call of Duty. I wouldn't say the console version was optimized; it often runs at lower frame rates and resolution. Plus, you'd still have control over settings for visuals or performance to suit your needs.
Playing only COD means you shouldn't waste more money on a computer.
