it's actually quite affordable to upgrade to a 4 stick 8gb or 16gb kit, especially if you're running demanding CPU games. after the BIOS update, you could install something like AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with 12 cores, which is more than sufficient for titles such as Civilization VI. moving to the 5000 series will also provide quicker storage options.
