I'm considering buying one of those, but I'm not sure about a amount of players playing those two games, which is better? And Arma got BattleRoyals now. Cheers!

Arma 3 offers improved optimization, and many modified versions exist. It feels quite similar to DayZ in Arma 3. Exile performs exceptionally well on the game.

In Arma 3, DayZ offers a similar experience. If you're looking for standalone options, it may not be worth pursuing at the present time. Consider playing Arma 3 Exile instead.

If you're only going to play BR then just say H1Z1. Otherwise, Arma 3 can be enjoyable and DayZ is getting a major update soon, so you might want to wait.
