I recently purchased a new GPU and am curious whether people here typically overclock it during regular days.

If you aim for longevity, and if you truly need to consider overclocking, there are numerous online guides available on the subject. There are actually many of them. The key is to determine whether you truly require it, as it might mean you purchased an incorrect component.

Don't waste time. The benefits of upgrading modern CPUs/GPUs through overclocking don't justify the effort or risk of harm.

Uncertain whether it's beneficial to overclock a RTX 2070 based on the available details. It's possible you might already be constrained by your CPU or the PSU can't handle the extra power demand. In some cases, the RTX 2070 could be fixed to its default power usage, rendering overclocking ineffective.
