Specs: CPU Ryzen 7 3800x, Motherboard MSI B550M MAG Mortar, RAM G.Skill 32 GB (2x16) DDR4 3200 MHz 14-14-14-34, GPU EVGA 2060 KO Ultra, PSU EVGA G2 550W. Issue: Over the past weeks this has been recurring and I'm struggling. After a cold boot the video appears but stays on with the VGA debug light still lit. A full power cycle fixes it. Steps taken: changed CMOS battery, reattached GPU, reconnected all power cables (EVGA G2 is modular), reinserted RAM, updated BIOS. Notes: Idle 12V rail is around 12.28V (12.24-12.26V at load), which feels slightly high. The PSU is old enough to be past its 7-year warranty. If a part needs replacing, I'm out of money. Uncertain if it's the PSU, GPU, or motherboard.
