Hey everyone. Here are some quick tips I found that might help save time: 1) Use Rufus to burn images to USB in DD mode—this worked on my old system with Balena Etcher but not on the new one. 2) For a brand new ASUS motherboard, turn off Secure Boot and verify UEFI settings on boot devices. My machine came with the stock BIOS 1405, but I didn’t have any updates linked to those problems. 3) After installing Solus, if Steam, Vulkan, Wine, Lutris, etc. aren’t working, run “sudo eopkg up” to refresh dependencies—then everything functioned perfectly for me! Really enjoying Solus with Budgie!

For secondary hard drives, using Twitch, Steam libraries, etc., works when you employ multiple drives. My method for locating the spot was accessing my second drive and opening a patch in the terminal. It might be related to Arch, but the path isn’t standard like /dev/sba. Instead, it’s /run/media/username/drivename. This should assist in moving game libraries and similar tasks. This approach helped me set up Twitch to manage addons in WoW, Move native Steam library, etc., though the location differs from what I expected.
