It seems like the issue might be related to the GPU or monitor performance. The constant or sporadic behavior could indicate a problem with either component. It's worth checking if the temperatures rise during gaming sessions.

Sometimes I believe it. It might also happen on a desktop or while browsing. This message is being addressed by disabling the variable refresh rate in my monitor settings.

It's uncertain if this will assist, but you might give it another shot.

New development: The included cable from Asus seems to be the source of the issue. It appears the header might not fit properly. The one I received from Best Buy works without any problems.

Great, prefer a decent cable over anything costly, and have fun without ads or paywalls.

I was taken aback by how perfect the included cable is.

Hmm, it seems like that brief flashing line is probably just the screen's behavior.

It might be possible to run a PC without gaming at all, or you might always play a game when the system is active. This could suggest GPU limitations. The display evidence is stronger, as straight-line issues are typical with bad screens or damaged components. It seems you likely don’t have a second monitor.

I just talked to the seller who sold me the card. They claimed they never noticed any flickering horizontal lines during testing before it was shipped. Meanwhile, I’m purchasing another monitor from LG, while their main display is an Asus ROG.
