Short bursts of black displays
This problem has persisted for a while, though it varies in intensity. It mainly appears when playing games, causing brief blackouts that pause the action but let the game resume afterward. It seems to affect only certain titles and can happen more often on the MAG241C than the MAG240CR. I suspect the issue might be related to the DisplayPort connection or cable quality. A fresh cable could have resolved it, or perhaps the port itself is worn.
Consider rearranging the cables first and verifying the connections. Adjust the monitors' refresh rate and observe the results. If necessary, reinstall the GPU drivers.
I'll attempt to rearrange the cables tomorrow, though I dislike the thought since I currently have one working monitor and it has been blacked out for hours before. Updating drivers seems unnecessary. This problem has persisted across more than 30 driver versions, spanning two Windows editions and several recent installs over many years. It's likely a hardware issue rather than software.
