I prefer not to stay in the safe—it feels stuffy and cramped. The design is a bit complicated, mainly due to math. EDIT: I added color coding to clarify some sections.

It’s important to recognize that carrying an excessive mass doesn’t stop you from moving—it only slows acceleration significantly. Without any external friction, the only forces acting are from the thrusters. For the ship to stay still, it would require an infinite mass, since acceleration depends on force divided by mass. This means a massive ship would move at an extremely slow rate, just a tiny bit per second squared. That’s why this technical point is crucial. Besides that, your spreadsheets are great!
