on my domain I own a file server where each user has their own folder structure. I want to move all default folders from the default C:\Users\user.name\Downloads location to N:\downloads, using the drive letter assigned to each user's mapped network drive for every default folder on that PC. I need a method to automate this process—whether via a script, GPO, or regedit.

Windows 10? Just launch the settings, navigate to System, then Storage. Most files can be moved there. For Chrome downloads, adjust them in Chrome’s own settings.

The login script will handle this task, and it can also be executed through a GPO.
