Your Windows 10 setup is connected via Wi-Fi, but sharing the internet with your Ubuntu server has been problematic. The DHCP service in Windows is functioning, assigning IP addresses and transferring files locally, yet you're unable to ping the Wi-Fi router. The issue might involve network configuration or firewall settings on either device.

You need additional information, the current version doesn't make sense.

Have you attempted to turn off the shared link and then back on it?

Using internet via Windows 10 to provide my Ubuntu Server with internet access. It assigns an IP address but the connection doesn’t share the Wi-Fi on the Windows machine. Windows connects to the internet through Wi-Fi, which I’m routing to the Ubuntu Server over a direct Ethernet link. The server only connects to the Windows PC, not the internet. No, I don’t have another Wi-Fi card. I restarted, turned off gigabit ports, and re-enabled them several times. Checked all settings: disabled firewalls, flushed ARP table, pinged local machines but failed to reach the Wi-Fi router on the server, only succeeded through the Windows 10 PC.

It seems the issue might lie with Ubuntu itself. Review the link provided for guidance. Ensure your PC's IP is recognized as the default gateway or verify if you need to reconfigure your router. DNS and resolvconf settings could also be relevant.
