You miss the ability to spend long periods playing with friends and connecting with others.

You need a large number of scissors for all those cuts.

I listened to it for ten minutes, then I was attacked by a sheep, and I never played it again.

I tried it for a couple of years before stopping. I saw that eventually I’d be stuck at 99 in everything with nothing else to do, and I was paying for access. Combat felt boring, and the quests or items often required skills I didn’t like—like the hunting class which is really tough. You usually had to check the wiki nonstop just to finish things, unless you were willing to spend hours grinding. Since I’m paying for it, I wouldn’t want to do something unpleasant for my money, so I canceled the subscription. There were some nice folks though—some players traded me gear they no longer needed and gave me skill items, which was helpful, but I’d rather have earned them myself.

I occasionally continue playing. The main game has taken a bad turn, but the OSRS (2007 server) was really enjoyable when it first came out last year.

I really miss those days, it was amazing back in May and June. Being online all day while learning and chatting with friends made me feel nostalgic. I started playing again recently, though I was a bit let down and not entirely. It’s stayed pretty much the same since 2009, but things have changed a lot. Now I log in three times a day mostly to check my GE progress and keep making some money to do something I hadn’t thought about yet. Rolleyes
