I've been testing the Bo3 beta today and yesterday. Lately I haven't played the last five matches (mw3, blops, blops2, ghosts, aw) and over the past two years CSGO has been my main focus. Still, I decided to try Black Ops 3 beta and see how it feels. Honestly, I enjoy it. Maybe because I play competitively I wanted a more relaxed experience, but I really like the new COD—it packed with abilities and some wild gear and weapons. I don’t take it too seriously; it’s just for fun, and I appreciate that.

Dislikes the Titanfall-style gameplay in AW and BO3; unlikely to buy it again unless future trailers change things. Still might consider it for zombie scenarios.

Game played well though there remain some issues I anticipate Vonderharr will address prior release since he's actively sharing updates on Twitter regarding the beta.

It turned out to be better than expected. Of course, some weapons felt overly overpowered, but overall it was fine. The main issue with CoD is its community—mostly young players, around 11 to 14 years old, playing against them.

Not bad, but dont see very much improvement form the other games, other than borrowed features from the likes of advanced waarfare/ titanfall. Hoping the zombies will be good...

Watch just one trailer for Kappa to discover what it’s all about.

I appreciate it, except for the performance problems... which should be resolved once the game is released. Normally with a 780 at the lowest settings I see 140-200fps, but then it randomly drops to 20 and stays there for a while. Maybe the fix will come when the game actually launches.

It performed well under certain conditions. It would crash at the beginning of the game and after about five minutes when it functioned properly.

This problem appears to affect the 780 model regardless of configuration. My friend with a 4790k and low settings managed around 50 fps without any AA, while I achieved 170 fps with a 3570k and 760k. Both of us used similar settings, yet results varied. He also shared a friend with a 780 but a 3770k, which struggled below 60 fps without FPS limits in-game. I experienced lag and occasional crashes, though the game itself was solid. I also dislike certain mechanics like wall running and high jumps, but overall it was decent.

Others are facing a different problem, where performance jumps to 90 FPS at high settings and exceeds 140 at low settings, only slowing down to the 20s in certain moments.
