They're planning to drop SL soon, which is great for PC builders because it lets folks begin upgrades with a fresh machine. I was thinking about building a new PC but decided to hold off until the AMD announcement on the 28th, which comes after the release date. Now I can wait and still start the expansion with my new PC. Is anyone else excited about the delay? Most seem pleased they're addressing the problems and bugs.

This depends on receiving a card first. Also, a new graphics card alone doesn't automatically upgrade your PC.

I don’t usually play WOW, but I always check out the movie trailers for expansions since they seem cool and I enjoy the story background.

I didn’t enjoy the game much, yet I still watched the trailers.

Back in the day things were better, but now it feels like recycled content is being repeated endlessly. Blizzard once stood out as a forward-thinking studio, turning ideas into hits. They crafted titles in genres they hadn’t explored before yet still delivered classics. Today, their releases seem repetitive, targeting younger audiences with titles like Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm. They even pushed Diablo for mobile just to attract cash, and it seems likely more mobile titles will follow. A founder recently left, making a pointed remark about their shift toward fun over substance. Behind the scenes, Blizzard has clearly changed—no longer the brand that sparked memories for many. This isn’t an isolated incident; other staff have departed, and the company has faced backlash for hiring a controversial writer. They’ve silenced most discussions on forums without addressing the issue, and many wonder if they’ll collapse soon. What keeps them afloat are devoted fans who keep posting, even when they’re just bored and venting online.
