If anyone could assist that would be helpful. I'm not sure if anyone has attempted recording Black Ops 3 at 60fps with shadow play, but I'm facing issues after resetting my PC to factory settings and downgrading to Windows 8.1. Previously it worked, now it's running at 30fps. I also tried recording CSGO and it seems fine, but still. Consider reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers, starting with DDU to remove them. Verify your shadow play configurations again, as changes in editing or rendering might affect them. I see the top option works better.
Sorry, I don't belong to the software world. What does DDU mean? My shadow play options are set to "In-Game" at 60FPS with a 130Mb bit rate. Both of those are using a resolution of 3840x2160. The in-game settings are high, and the render is at 70-80%. I use a 5820k and 2 980 Ti in SLI.
I think lowering Os's version might point to a graphics driver problem. I suggest checking the link I shared and removing those drivers, then installing the NVIDIA drivers for Windows 8.1 if it helps. Might Windows 10 be a better choice for gaming? Also, is Black Ops 3 actually using DX12?
I don't believe it relies on DX12. I just installed my display drivers fresh and the issue remains. One reason is lowering the resolution isn't ideal because the game appears less sharp and washed out on my 4K screen. I intend to upgrade to a 1440p ultra-wide Acer Predator 34" in April. I've also tested Bandicam and OBS with identical settings, except OBS downscaled to 1080p at 60fps from original 4K footage, which produced the same outcome.
