I checked Steam for Shadow of Mordor and saw the release date listed as September 30th. However, online sources indicated October 8th as the actual availability. Could it be a regional difference since you're in Australia? The dates might affect access depending on your location. Thanks for the link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/241930/

PC appears to be September 30 globally (as claimed). Even retail stores confirm this, as I placed an order from one. Console is October 8.
