My system details are: CPU i9-13900K (not overclocked), GPU RTX3080Ti, Boom Tuf Gaming B760-PLUS, 32GB RAM, installed on an SSD. I’ve updated the GPU driver, checked file integrity, tried lowering CPU voltage, and even attempted to run it as admin or in compatibility mode. Windows is a fresh install (under two months). I’ve posted on Reddit about this and really need help fixing it quickly. If you know a solution or can assist, I’d be grateful. Just want to enjoy Tekken!
Hey everyone, I was really excited to try Tekken 8 today, but things took a turn. Every time I open the game, it crashes with this warning: LowLevelFatalError [File
:\p4\eagle\v100_xx2-build_pkg_win\ue\Engine\Source\Runtime\RenderCore\Private\ShaderCodeArchive.cpp] [Line: 354]. ShaderCodeArchive:

The game appears to have some problems, and I saw a similar error in the demo. I'm hesitant about purchasing it because the developers don't seem to address these issues. The only workaround I found was disabling hyperthreading, but I haven't tried it yet and worry about potential consequences. If you attempt that, please let me know if it resolves the problem.
Uncertain about compatibility on other boards, you should verify. Turning off hyperthreading didn't help either.
I have addressed the problem to some extent. The game still crashes occasionally, though Story Mode, Arcade Mode, Customisation, Gallery, Jukebox, and reaching the Tekken Online Lobby function properly. I haven’t tried online play yet. This has been verified with 13900k – outcomes may differ.
1. Switch your CPU from "Current Microcode" to 0x104. See instructions for ASUS boards here: https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/intel-700-...d-p/955874
2. Install and execute a tool called Process Lasso.
3. Launch Tekken 8. When it crashes, refrain from closing the window.
4. Open Process Lasso and search for Tekken 8.
5. Right-click Tekken 8.exe and select properties.
6. Adjust CPU priority to "Always" and choose "Real Time".
7. Go to CPU Affinity settings and disable Hyperthreading.
8. Right-click "Polaris" and follow similar steps.
9. In the menu, choose "CPU Priority > Always" and set it to "Real Time".
10. Repeat for "CPU Affinity", disabling Hyperthreading.
11. Navigate to the menu bar, select "Options > CPU > CPU Affinities".
12. Double-click "tekken 8.exe" and click "Select".
13. Allocate slightly more than half of your P-Cores to Tekken 8. For a 13900k system with 8 cores, select cores 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8.
14. Choose "Ok" and add a rule.
15. For Polaris, use the remaining cores (10, 12, and 14) and follow the same process.
16. Ensure "More strictly enforce default affinities" is enabled.
17. Click "Ok".
18. In the menu, select "Options > CPU > CPU Priorities".
19. Set both executables to "Real Time" and check "More Strictly Enforce Default Priorities".
20. Save the configuration and restart Tekken 8. Enjoy your game!
