SFF PC for 1440 gaming
SFF PC for 1440 gaming
I would like to construct a computer here because I find it very appealing and it would fit perfectly on my desk:

For the next year, I have two main goals: to run Civilization 7 and the latest Assassin's Creed title at 1440p resolution. I'm seeking advice on starting with the CPU and GPU, after which I can assemble the remaining components. I'm completely open-minded about the brand.
I don't have any spare parts to reuse since I donated my previous machine, which had a Ryzen 5 5600X and an 1660Ti. Both were perfectly suitable for my needs with Civilization 6 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla at 1440p.
Currently, I'm using this compact model, but it won't be enough when I want to play games again.
*How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice*
This guide is based on an adaptation of the Animal's *How To Ask For New Build Advice* Sticky. I developed it after noticing many recent requests for upgrade guidance both here and on the CPU forums. It’s important to note your location, budget for the build, and preferred purchase site when reaching out. A follow-up post in this thread will encourage responses or updates from others.
All components align perfectly if the fractal design manual is completely accurate regarding dimensions and compatibility. Consider reducing the CPU voltage and clock speed to maintain stable temperatures, even though this review may not be necessary. What is your budget?
Great start! It would be wise to reduce costs by opting for less expensive components rather than the top models. A 4060 processor and Ryzen 7 chip could work well.
Thank you again! I'm planning to examine the options for Canadian sourcing. This will likely happen after Black Friday and Christmas, but it's really useful.
Nvidia 5000 graphics cards and AMD's latest models will be released soon. Intel's upcoming CPUs are also expected to arrive.
