I’m experiencing severe stuttering in several of my games (HL2, TF2, CSGO, etc.) and I’m struggling to identify the issue. The game runs smoothly for about five minutes before suddenly freezing and restarting within a second. This is especially problematic in competitive play like CSGO. A new GPU has been installed recently, which helps eliminate that possibility. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it, tried running in fullscreen mode, adjusted all settings to low, but the problem persists. I’m unsure what to do next and would really appreciate any guidance. Hopefully someone can offer a quick solution like adjusting a slider. Thanks for your help! You’re all great!

It seems there might be a problem with your CPU not ramping up correctly or staying at a lower speed. Check your BIOS settings and make sure EIST is turned off, which will disable the core frequency clock reduction. Additionally, open the NVIDIA control panel, navigate to 3D settings, and set the power management mode to prioritize maximum performance.

We require details about your specifications and operating temperatures. It might also involve the PSU; a newer GPU could demand more power than the PSU supports, causing temporary GPU shutdowns. Whatever happens, PCs are flexible.

Hello, new to this community. I assumed specifications were presented in a more casual style like on Reddit. My setup includes a Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming, an Intel Core i7 4790 (not the latest), 16 GB of RAM, and a 750-watt power supply.

Unusual, everything seems fine—have you verified the temperatures and usage? Look for any reductions.

You might be able to apply MSI Afterburner, but check if it supports the specific hardware you're using.

Keep track of those items, display everything on your screen, run some tests and observe the results.
