Hello, I recently assembled my PC using the combo offers available on microcenter. Here are my specifications: Ryzen 7 7800X3D 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 6000 Asus ROG B650 gaming Wi-Fi RTX 4060 (upgraded to 4080 soon) EVGA Supernova 1000W gold PSU Asus TUF Gaming 165Hz 1440p monitor.

Regarding my issue, I've searched extensively online but remain frustrated and desperate for a solution. I've been reinstalling drivers nonstop, changing BIOS settings, trying various fixes, switching monitors, etc. Games are nearly unplayable because of the stress. Despite having no games installed after a clean install, dragging tabs causes minor micro-stuttering or it might be a PC-monitor mismatch. I've also toggled Freesync Premium on and off, adjusted all NVIDIA control panel settings, but nothing resolves the problem.

I've spent hours scrolling Reddit and watching YouTube for help, but I'm running out of ideas. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated—I truly appreciate it.

Either you simply need to install the first party Chipset driver from AMD.com for B650: B650 Drivers Or, you're missing a configuration somewhere with G-sync, V-sync, etc. Since my first jump into G-sync in 2014, I've preferred running V-sync turned off globally in the Nvidia Control Panel, and then G-sync for both Fullscreen and Fullscreen-Windows. There's an extra checkbox for Freesync Premium monitors to run them in 'G-sync Compatible Mode' in the same menu that can be easy to miss (I did on my current rig for a couple of weeks and was kind of angry when I realized where my microstutters were coming from). I also run the framerate uncapped, since in some games, their minimums can be noticeable if you're not letting the game just generate as many frames as possible. Warframe is a notable example of this where even capped at 360 fps on a 240Hz monitor, I still notice stutters unless I just let it run uncapped.

Restart CMOS, refresh BIOS, apply newest AMD chipset drivers – though perhaps you’ve already done all of this.

You're using an NVIDIA 4000 series GPU with Windows 11 24H2. I think removing your current drivers via DDU and reverting to the version from December 2024 might resolve the problems. Some users reported that switching back to the older driver fixed DirectX crashes and overall performance issues. I followed that approach and everything has worked perfectly since then.
