Several odd and bothersome problems are occurring on your PC.
I constructed my PC roughly three years ago, and it consistently faces this problem—when I power it on, sometimes it starts normally, other times it displays an A0 error with a lingering white VGA indicator and no screen appears. After resetting, the issue repeats: either it restarts successfully, or the display remains blank again, or in another case it shows a "Windows didn't load correctly" message. Another odd occurrence is seeing faint black horizontal lines on my browser, accompanied by a persistent beep until I switch tabs or close them, but once I do, the lines and sound disappear. Lastly, in Unreal Engine 5 games, especially Marvel Rivals, I can’t play for more than thirty seconds without crashes—random errors like access violations, GPU dumps, unhandled exceptions appear only in UE5, while other titles function normally. Despite changing cables, updating drivers, and reseating hardware, the problem persists. What could be causing this? Might the GPU have been faulty all along? Hardware details: Asus Z690-E motherboard, EVGA RTX 3080 graphics card, Dominator DDR5 RAM, i7-12700K CPU, RM850x power supply.
Do you have another GPU available for testing, or should I run the check on a different computer?
When working with PCIe extensions, test without seeing if it improves performance; if not, follow the advice to look for BIOS updates on both the motherboard and graphics card.
Looking ahead, are there simpler checks you hesitate to perform since they might suggest needing professional help?
