You can simply mount /home on the same block device for both systems. I think there could be problems with certain hidden files in /home, so I’d advise against doing this.

Ensure your home directory resides on a separate partition. Opt for LVM instead of direct partitioning to allow future resizing without issues. Keep in mind that this process will also import desktop configurations and other settings.
