My Wi-Fi card isn’t working and no drivers seem to fit. I can’t use the command prompt to skip network setup, and Windows doesn’t detect my PC at all. I’m assembling a second PC using the Microcenter bundle with a Ryzen 7 9700X, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, and the Gigabyte B650 X AX V2 motherboard. At first it wouldn’t boot because the BIOS was outdated. After updating, it started but then failed to recognize my network during Windows setup. I have no Ethernet cable. I attempted to install drivers from a USB stick, but Windows doesn’t identify any of the ones from Gigabyte. I’ve tested all driver versions and even some recommended ones from other users, but nothing works. I’ve extracted the files to a USB drive and tried connecting it to the motherboard. The folder contents look empty, and when I try to open them, they appear blank. I can type in the command prompt to update drivers, but I can’t type commands to bypass network settings. I know keyboards function, but typing everything manually doesn’t help. Alt-tab doesn’t work either. Additionally, Windows only sees one M.2 drive in BIOS while searching for drivers. Do I need to configure the other drive after launching Windows? I’m stuck with the drivers and can’t locate the correct chip ID in Device Manager. It’s strange that the new BIOS drivers fixed a prior problem, yet none of the Wi-Fi options are working. Any suggestions or resources would be greatly appreciated.

I tackled the issue by visiting a friend’s place and connecting via Ethernet. After switching to Windows, I accessed the Gigabyte Control Center and installed the necessary drivers. Restarting resolved the problem.
