My system configuration is as follows: I’m running an Intel Core i5-4440 at 3.1GHz with 24GB of 1600MHz RAM, utilizing a Gigabyte B85-HD3 revision 2.0 motherboard and an MSI R9 390X Gaming card with 8GB of VRAM. My storage consists of a 1TB Western Digital Green Power hard drive. I recently purchased Far Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2, but neither game will properly launch – there seems to be an issue. Far Cry 5 fails to display the AMD introductory logo, instead presenting a warning message on a black screen. Resident Evil 2 also launches with a black screen when running in windowed mode, and subsequently closes. Furthermore, I attempted to install DirectX 9.0C and encountered an error message displaying "Error creating process. Reason advpack.dll." Could someone please assist me?

Good heavens...
It might seem unusual, but if you were to purchase the games legitimately, your difficulties would suddenly disappear.
Tom’s Hardware does not endorse or approve of illicit software, including fitgirl modifications.
