Using Never keeps every disk active. Choosing a duration like 10 minutes puts all other disks to sleep except the OS drive, which remains on. This setting affects all hard drives and SSDs in my setup—my system has one SSD for the operating system and one HDD for general use. Setting it to shut after 10 minutes means the SSD stays running while the HDD powers down.

It's also not necessary to worry about turning off or dealing with an SSD, because it lacks moving components that require maintenance.
