I assembled the machine using Linus's latest RGB configuration a few months back and have faced recurring issues. I've explored every fix available online. The initial challenge was a blue screen with clock watchdog timeout, followed by another blue screen. The first fix was disabling turbo boost in the BIOS, which resolved the problem. It seems the issue might stem from sudden temperature spikes, possibly due to overheating even when idle. I attempted cleaning the thermal paste and verifying the cooler installation, but the overheating persisted. The fans and pump were still spinning, yet the temperature continued to rise. I suspect a problem with the water pump, which makes a loud clicking sound at startup before stopping. I considered an air bubble issue and moved it while running, hoping it would displace the problem. I read online about this possibility but haven't found a solution yet.

I noticed you were helping with the cooling system diagnostics.

Sure, I can provide a detailed overview of your setup and include the video reference. Let me know if you'd like me to tailor it further!

motherboard asus Maximus hero xiii features a 11900k cpu, water cooler mag core liquid 360r 4x8 trident z 3200 ram, 1200w power supply, and nividia psu. all drivers should be current. the main change from the video was swapping the 10850k for 11900k and choosing nividia graphics instead of another brand.

Take water cooler into consideration since turbo boost causes it to reach peak temperature quickly. It operates smoothly yet produces unusual sounds during startup, similar to the pump making noise initially.
