You're experiencing unusual behavior after updating your drivers for the 7800xt. The monitor goes black with no signal and the GPU fans run at full speed, especially during gaming or video editing. It only happens under those tasks, not when idle. You've tried reinstalling drivers through various methods, but the issue persists. Logs mention a DistributedCOM 10016 error, but no further details are provided.

Don't know that much about AMD GPUs, but if you know, just use the previous driver instead the current one, and see if that resolves it. There's really no reason to run current drivers if 1 patch older ones can do the job, while also not crashing...

Did you start in safe mode? In the options section, did you change "prevent Windows Update from installing drivers"? If not, try that. Also consider using a different driver. Another point: verify if fast boot is enabled or disabled in BIOS. After that, in Windows it should be labeled as fast startup. It must be either activated or turned off (just like in BIOS). If not, the system will crash.

Attempt to execute a driver rollback using the Device Manager on a Windows device. If unavailable, apply the previous working driver.
