Hey guys,
I'm starting a new PC build from scratch and need advice on the fan configuration. I'm planning to use a Montech King 95 case and considering a setup with six 120mm fans. Maybe three at the top, two in the side chamber, one at the back, and three at the bottom. I was thinking of placing two fans in the side chamber for intake, one at the bottom as intake, two on top as intake, and one at the rear as exhaust. Is this a good arrangement?
Also, I'm considering the microcenter 7800x3d with a gigabyte motherboard bundle. Since I don't have a GPU yet but want to be safe, I'm checking if the motherboard and processor will affect the choice. I'm aiming to get everything ready by next weekend.

I've implemented this setup several times using AIO's at the top and followed the provided link for the remaining fans. Generally, I configure PCs with air intakes on the bottom, front, or side, while exhausts are directed out the back and top. For cost-effectiveness, I purchase my King 95's equipped with fans because you can't match the price and install a 360 AIO at the top (or add 2-3 exhaust fans at the top). I haven't personally used the optional mesh front fans on any build, but you might check YouTube for side and front 140 fan options.

If you haven't purchased your case yet and aren't concerned about RGB fans, I'd opt for a case with built-in fans to save money on other parts. The case includes preset RGB modes and colors, so if you need full control from the motherboard, I don’t have any opinions on that.
