Last month I had to rely on my father's laptop for online school. I discovered some programs didn't work on Windows 7, so I moved to Windows 10 but it was very slow—starting up took about five minutes and opening browsers sometimes crashed the system. My little brother suggested using Linux, and I never looked back; everything ran smoothly. However, I faced a problem with deleting Windows 10: every time I turned on my PC, G-rub would appear and I’d pick either Manjaro or Windows 7. When I chose Windows 7, it caused a blue screen and I had to press F9 to boot into Windows 7. This was really frustrating. Thank you for reading this confusing text. I’ve attached a picture of the blue screen.

It seems the Windows bootloader isn't working after removing Windows 10. Follow the guidance at the provided link to rebuild it. Be aware that if your dual-boot configuration uses a single drive, reinstalling the Windows 7 bootloader will erase Grub. You'll need to restore Grub to return to Linux.

Consider checking that link for guidance. Once you save the file and close it, you should see the Grub2 menu again at startup.

Thank you for your message. I understand you're looking to avoid setting Windows 7 in its default settings and want to fix the Blue Screen error (Error Code=0xc000000f). You mentioned trying EBCDEC, deleting the Windows 10 WBM, and not having a Windows 7 disc. Let me know if you'd like guidance on alternative solutions or troubleshooting steps.
