Setup a PC-style network environment but encounter connectivity problems.
Hi there, I'm Tyler, a Creative Digital Technologist at St. Malachy's College in Belfast. We recently launched an after-school eSports club with 25 high-end gaming PCs connected to a single domain. Steam clients are linked through a cafe server, allowing me to control access and manage downloads via P2P. Last week we attempted to get everyone online for the first real session, but faced numerous sign-in issues—most users just needed to try again. Progress was slow; by the end of club time, only 12 of 24 players were logged in and playing Apex Legends. Others kept trying to log into Steam or stuck in endless loading loops. I suspect the problem stems from too many connections through one router. Anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this? Thanks a lot!
The DNS configuration is set up correctly. For the actual switching, we use routers and switches to manage network traffic.
