I configured a second display, but it appears slightly elevated compared to your laptop screen. In the settings, you adjusted its position for proper height. Now only a limited area connects between the two screens, and you can't see the full range from the laptop to the external display. There are options to rearrange the layout, including diagonal positioning—check the blue icons for adjustments.
GPU drivers include these configurations. Possibly Windows as well, though I rely on drivers instead.
