Which game settings bother you the most or boost your performance? For me, it's bloom, motion blur, depth of field (usually off), AA (most of the time), post processing (often off), FXAA, and physics effects if they're available—they all impact performance significantly. I prefer keeping resets from native settings.

Bloom and AA are cool, but I really dislike lens flare in FPS games. My eyes aren’t cameras. zz

I usually disable anti-aliasing. It’s not necessary most of the time. I mostly rely on the PC to determine the best settings and rarely adjust them afterward.

Motion blur affects me negatively, I don’t understand. Updated: Depth of field is also bothersome.
