Hi all, So the short-hand question is, is it just me or is there a Windows bug that keeps wanting to reset the speaker config / settings within Windows after every boot for HDMI audio devices? I have an issue which requires me to use 2 separate HDMI cables from my PC. 1 goes to a Yamaha AVR (HDMI 2.0 only) and another from my GPU to an LG Oled (HDMI 2.1). With the above layout, I get to play at 4K120 with G-Sync AND pass Dolby ATMOS / TrueHD to me AVR. Now, due to the PC using an MSI Z390 MEG ACE mobo that doesn't have support for iGPU's, I am forced to use a 2nd GT1030 GPU to get that 2nd HDMI Port as the 3080ti (and most Nvidia GPUs) only have a single HDMI port. And, yes, I've tried a DP>HDMI cable and all i get is static / pops. The problem I have is, when booting into Windows, EVERTIME i need to go into my audio settings and tell Windows to apply Dolby Atmos for Home Theatre. After shutting the PC down and restarting it reverts to Stereo. I've even tried disabling the HDMI audio within the Nvidia control panel for the 3080ti and the relevant port but it keeps wanting to revert. The only thing I haven't looked into, is if I turn the TV, AVR and PC on in a set order.... Any ideas? Cheers
