Try adding the package to your system's repositories first. Then use `sudo apt install -a zoom` to install it properly. If that still fails, manually download the correct file and place it in the right directory before running the install command.

Something went really wrong and now updating Linux Mint isn't possible. Ugh. Working with packages in the terminal usually leads to messed-up outcomes, especially when I'm not paying attention.

You can launch these .deb files by discovering them, which provides information about the package and a button to install it.
