It could function if your bootloader allows partition selection; otherwise, it seems you're unlikely to be lucky with partitions.

For your laptop with a DVD reader or burner, I recommend burning a DVD using Windows 10. This will allow you to install the operating system directly onto the drive without needing to partition it.

It includes a DVD drive, but I don’t have a disc to burn. Instead, I’ll create a Windows 10 installation partition and use the remaining space for the installed OS.
