I assisted a friend in setting up his PC and encountered the same issue when trying to install Windows 7. The system would prompt to remove the installation disc before restarting, yet the message reappeared after turning it back on. Return to the HDD boot or let Windows start again; if it doesn’t, nothing happens afterward. Graphics drivers aren’t installed—press F8 to enter Safe Mode and install Windows 7 on another machine, then test it.
