Hello everyone. Yesterday I purchased an SSD and a drive caddy. I connected the SSD to the caddy and inserted it into my laptop, which operates at the advertised speeds. The SATA port on the DVD drive didn’t create any performance issues. Then I downloaded Windows from their website and installed it on the SSD. It doesn’t have a separate Windows Boot Manager; it uses the one from my hard drive. When I attempt to boot an older Windows version from the hard drive, it functions properly. However, when trying to boot from the SSD, I encounter a blue screen with the error code 0xc00000e and the message “Windows\system32\winload.efi is missing or corrupt.” I’ve checked the SSD files and found them intact. Many online guides recommend unplugging the old drive before installation, but my laptop’s hard drive won’t disconnect easily. Any advice would be appreciated. This is the disk management screenshot:

Windows seems mixed up about which disk to use and is searching for files in the wrong spot. That’s why you’re being told to disconnect the other drive first.

There’s no method for a successful setup without turning off the initial device.
