Setting up Windows 10 on a laptop not designed for it can be challenging.
Attempting to revive an old laptop with a new Windows 10 setup is challenging since it doesn’t meet the latest requirements. While I’ve managed to install Windows 10 on previous machines, this time I’m facing restrictions that only allow Windows 11. I have my product key and can use Windows Setup, but the system clearly isn’t compatible with Windows 11. Most research I’ve done points to forums or shared experiences about systems already running Win10 or Win11. I’m not alone in this problem, and I’d appreciate any advice or alternatives you might have.
Get the newest release and place it on a USB stick using Rufus. Turn off the internet connection during installation to stop automatic updates.
